Great Pyrenees are extremely versatile dogs.  They can do everything from therapy work to conformation dog shows just about anything  in between.   And, of course, they excel at their original purpose - guarding livestock.  Included on this page are a few of the things that our dogs do with and for their owners.

 Duncan, owned by the Vance's of Oklahoma, has been boating and swimming since the age of 8 weeks.  They spend most weekends at the lake, with Duncan spending all day and night with the family.  Some Pyrs love water, but others aren't as keen.  Duncan - as you can see - is definately a water dog!

Some dogs, on the other hand, spend their days doing what they were bred to do - guard livestock.

And another group, or sometimes the same dogs, spend part of their lives in the conformation show ring

Others spend their days being good companions - no matter what other tasks they have taken on in their life.
